What I try to capture is the movement and measurement of time in simple shapes and animations. Practical and nice to look at.

The six-hour principle

You almost always know the time of day, having your own internal biological (circadian) clock. Night, morning, afternoon or evening. Round noon or midnight, round dusk or dawn. You might be wrong by an hour or two, but never more than that.

So when you divide the day in four familiar periods, you only need a scale of six to know exactly what time it is.

Night 00:00–06:00 Morning 06:00–12:00 Afternoon 12:00–18:00 Evening 18:00–24:00

This six-hour principle gives the possibility to display time in a different manner. And perhaps by changing the appearance of time there is also a change in the way we experience time.

New designs arrive occasionally.
